COMPONENTS

The SELVE Home Server 2 is the heart of our smart home system called ‘SELVE Home’. When paired with the matching app, it is the key to convenient home control.

COMPATIBILITY

SELVE Home lets you combine the components of our commeo and iveo radio systems. You can then control them easily using our app for tablets and smartphones. Integrating selected Homematic IP devices into our smart home system is also possible, permitting you to control heating, lighting and other systems with just a single app. The various receivers and devices can be coordinated with each other and combined to create customised groups and scenarios.

CONTROL OPTIONS

You can control your smart home on a time or sensor basis using ‘if A, then B’ tasks. Choose from manual or fully automated control via the app, Amazon Alexa voice command or an existing radio transmitter.

COMMISSIONING

Setting up the system for the first time is just as easy as controlling it later on. Simply connect the ‘SELVE Home’ app to the home’s wifi network and the required devices will be taught in. If you or your customer wish to install the SELVE Home Server 2 without a router or smartphone, use our commissioning app ‘SELVE Home Install’.

PRIVACY

You decide if and how your data is recorded. Controlling your smart home system from within your own wifi network does not require an internet connection, and no data is exchanged. A connection to the SELVE Cloud is necessary, however, if you wish to view or control your home on the go. Data is then exchanged via internet with a server based in Germany. Controlling your smart home via voice control requires a connection to the Amazon Cloud.
