Roller shutter drives are usually operated using 230 V mains power. If roller shutters are being retrofitted to a building in a place without mains wiring, the installation is usually time-consuming and complicated. The SE Solar-com means that a complicated installation is a thing of the past.
Roller shutters up to a size that can be operated by a 10 Nm drive can now be installed anywhere on a building without additional wiring to the mains. The battery is charged by the solar panel, and the radio transmitter enables the roller shutter to operate fully autonomously and independently of the mains supply. The SE Solar-com controls don’t need to be wired to the mains either. Any of the wall-mounted or handheld transmitters from the commeo range can be used to operate the roller shutter drive. It can also be integrated in the SELVE Home smart home system.

This innovative technology is based on solar power and a powerful rechargeable battery, which enables the roller shutters to be motorised self-sufficiently even when there is little sunlight or at night.
The SE-Solar-com roller shutter drive not only contributes to energy efficiency, but also to climate protection by using renewable energy. Additional options such as more solar panels or external charging sockets enhance the operational reliability and can be adapted to individual requirements.
